Hand painted Tuxedo for Museum Benefit

Last week, I took a quick break from projects to create a hand painted tuxedo...with tails! Each year, Tampa Museum of Art holds a themed benefit to generate interest in the Museum and it's programs.

With great themes - comes great creative inspiration. This year's theme was a "Circus" theme. I transformed a white tuxedo with tails with all the whimsy of a ringmaster jacket with a bit of bling and flair!  Glitter ribbon for trapeze ropes? YES, please! Last but not least - bling don't mean a thing unless it's got - RHINESTONES!  After I hand painted the entire jacket, it was inevitable that the stones came out!

I had so much fun working on this project! For the past 3 years, I've created a theme jacket with a "little something different"  - from Gold leaf to wired blacklight sleeves.

Check the "Projects" section for previous year's jacket projects!
